Interview Charlie Gush

Hi for first thanks for your time , Where are you from , how old you are and how old you skate?

All good mate! I’m from Weymouth in Dorset which is on the south coast of England.

Tell me something about your begginings on skateboard why you started skating?

So a bunch of the guys at my primary school were playing with fingerboards which inevitably lead to an obsession with skating! 

What was your fav skate spots then and what are your fav spots/parks now?

So I spent a bunch of time out in the street outside my house and at local skateparks (Portland and Dorchester) when I first started, but as I got a little older and started exploring the town and started to skate the street quarters at Weymouth pavilion which is still one of my favourites to this day! Now days I really like skating DIYs it’s hard to pick a favourite because they all are so unique!

Tell me something about your local skate scene 

 It’s well good tbf everyone in Dorset is great and everyone brings something different to the session! Dorset wins like

Yeeeee, Heroin skateboards, dungeon, moose skateshop, shitwax and blokeland! Right bunch of legends the lot of em

Your fav skate trick? Which tricks must be on every sesh 

it changes all the time tbh but can beat a good old boneless

 Your best music to skate?

man it’s eclectic to say the least  but enything upbeat really, been hyped on psychobilly recently

Your inspiration in life and skateboarding? Whats your fav skate legends which influenced you 

everything tbh! But my mates get me more hyped then enything! But if we’re talking Ona broader sense then Jason Adams, dead dave, Craig questions, grosso, Jason Jesse, Zane timpson, lucero, blender but there’s wayyy to meny wild skater out there everyone is rad!
