Hi, thanks for your time tell us (for those dont know you for example slovak skaters) where are you from , how old you are and how old you skate ?

-I am from San Jose, California. USA I am 51 years old. I have been seriously skating since right be for I turned 13 so 38-39 years

Tell us about your beginnings on skateboard, where and why you started skating and what was your favourite spot to skate

- I always ‘Played with Skateboards. I received a plastic Banana board when I was 4 years old. But I really got into it years later. At the age a lot of people get into it, 12-13 I feel at that age you start looking for yourself something yours something to belong to. I always thought skateboarding was cool and skaters were cool. I wanted a big fat cool skateboard I managed to get one and the rest is history. I don’t have a favorite spot. For me its about being with the right people at the right time. I had more fun in a parking lot than some insane spot or park.

What was your first sponsors and who sponsoring you now?

0-my first company sponsor was Venture trucks. I am sponsored by Black Label Skateboards, Speed Lab Wheels, Ace trucks and Jessup Grip Tape.

i like your art, who inspires you to doing art ? i like your paint style with cutting holes on cardboard and spray it i like your rocknroll style.

_ I think the main early inspiration for my art would be skateboard art, punk Rock zine and record art. Early when I started painting I was really into folk art have always loved the 1950s-60s pop art movement. Plus of corse a lot of stencil artist. Chris Stain was my first favorite stencil Guy.

Where do you selling art? what is your pages when readers can support you

I sell most of my art through my on Line store www.burningboyltd.com  I work with Punk Rock Paint brushes consistently as well. They do art shows at punk festivals around the US mostly.

My Favorite skate related artist is CR Stecyk. Then Mark Gonzales, Lance Mountain  and John Lucero. I really liked Santa Cruz skateboards in. The 1980s. The 1980s were may favorite for skate art as a whole. probably because that was the golden years of skateboarding for me.

Back to the skating, what was your first skate complete did you remember that?

-It was a action sports Kamikaze. Kinda a cheep big store brand but was pretty good quality for where I got it from. but it wasn’t very ‘Cool’ if you know what I mean. After that I started getting ‘cool’ pieces. Starting with a Santa Cruz Bullet flip Tail. Then Independent trucks and Hosoi Rocket Wheels.

Your best music to skate?

Punk Rock duh.

Whats your inspiration in skateboarding and life?

- My inspiration is to have as much fun as possible in life. To follow my creative drive I’ve always had. And the need to always be working towards something. Having projects keeps me going. Ive also been driven by my felling towards society and its confines and expectations. I hate it and that drives me to work against it through art….skateboarding is art in my mind. If I paint or skate its all the same.
