Neil Blender...

Ako prvé predtým než tu bude pár slov o tomto velikánovi tak bude moja kresba Neil Blender plant ktorá bola na ig Confusion magu ako upútavka na real skate stories part o ňom...ešte jednu som robil ale tá je v mojej knižke ak chceš kupiť napíš mi možno ešte nejakú nájdem.

Neil Blender je jednou z najuznávanejších postáv v histórii skateboardingu, niečo ako Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí, a Rod Serling ktorý prežili celý svoj život ako dielo zvláštneho umenia. Na začiatku 80-tych rokov keď vládli rebelské skejtové grafiky, bol Neil prvý, kto to otočil na surrealistický štýl a napísal niekoľko veselo-bizarných príbehov pre svoj stĺpček Aggro Zone v časopise TransWorld Skateboarding. Podobne v Skate Fate zine, tam Neilov komiks zvaný  Mark Coonson predpovedal triky ako ho-ho plant a skejtovanie na zábradlí ( handrails slides) niekolko rokov predtým ako sa to začalo skejtovat v reálnom živote, akoby vymýšľanie trikov ako the bean plant - môj  Tricktip  , no comply, jolly mamba, wooly mammoth a mnoho dalších nestačilo.Mimo iného bol tiež človekom ktorý prvý grindoval predný trek na copingu v čase kedy to nikto predtým nevidel. Neilovo niekedy nevyspytateľné, ale za to vždy spontánne správanie sa prejavilo mnohými spôsobmi - sprejovanie kreslenej tváre na stenu počas jeho jazdy na conteste, jazdenie malých po domácky vyrobených rámp vnútri v byte, hranie sa na jaštericu na zemi pri slejde po kolenách, hlúpy nepodarený rocket air cez malý výbežok zo zeme a také srandy. Nakoniec, tento odkaz na Neila Blendera nás všetkých môže inšpirovať aby sme boli čo najkreatívnejší a nebrali seba ani život príliš vážne. A to je to, čo skateboarding teraz potrebuje viac ako kedykoľvek predtým.

Neil Blender is one of the most revered dudes in the history of skateboarding, something like Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí, and Rod Serling, who lived his whole life as a work of special art. In the early 80s, when rebel skate graphics ruled, Neil was the first to say it in a surrealist style, writing some hilariously bizarre stories for TransWorld Skateboarding magazine's Aggro Zone column. Similarly in the Skate Fate zine, there Neil's comix called Mark Coonson predicted tricks like the ho-ho plant and handrails slides years before it was skated in real life, as if inventing tricks like the bean plant - my Tricktip. no comply, jolly mamba, wooly mammoth and many others were not enough. He was also the person who first grinded the front truck on coping at a time when no one had seen it before. Neil's sometimes erratic but always spontaneous behavior manifested iself in many ways  - spray-painting a cartoon face on the wall during his competition ride, riding tiny homemade diy ramps inside the apartment, acting lizard on the ground after doing knee slide, stupid failed rocket air through a small protrusion from the ground. Finally, this Neil Blender message can inspire us all to be as creative as possible and not take ourselves or life too seriously. And that's what skateboarding needs now more than often before.
